Data Protection Training

The Data Protection Act 1998 cuts to the heart of every organisation. The information we hold, what we do with it and how it is made available has to comply with the 1998 Act.  Recent stories in the media (the lost HMRC data discs, lost DVLA data and Identity cards etc.) demonstrate the need to understand when data can be used and shared lawfully.  The information Commissioner is soon to get new powers to do spot checks and the fines for misuse of data are to be revised.  This course will cut through the legal jargon and give you an action plan for compliance.
